![]() ![]() It has lots of loft, so you can't feel anything uneven terrain under the pad. While it won't replace my old Thermarest for solo go-light trips, this thing is insanely comfortable, easy to fill (mostly self-inflate), and spacious. I've had my eyes on this sleeping pad for about a year and recently picked it up during the 20% off sale. I'm also impressed by how perfectly it fits in the Jeep. This is by far the most comfortable portable mattress I've slept on. This mattress is great! So far I've used it in the house as well as in my custom built sleeping platform in my '05 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I have a 'bad everything' shoulders, back, hips.this has made camping life bearable. It's a near perfect fit and has made sleeping a pleasure. I replaced the rock hard mattress in my hard shell roof top tent. Just went on a week long camping trip with my wife and using the MegaMat Duo 10 and it was fantastic inflated easily deflation took a little effort but well worth it for a week of good sleep while camping !!!! Buy it use it love it ![]() The last camping trip i went on i had your typical generic Air Mattress which i have had a lot of over my years of camping because they always leak 35-45-55-65-75-85 dollars always the same result after 2-3 uses they end up deflating 1/2 way through the night. Slept great and best of all no complaints from my wife! My only minor gripe is that it does take a bit of time to force all the air out of it when packing up to get it small enough to roll up and put into the carrier. Initially we put too much air in it and had to bleed some out overnight but once we got it dialed in it was perfect. This thing is huge, and it event takes up a good bit of space in the trunk, but sleeping on it was just as comfortable as my Tempurpedic mattress at home. I picked up a Megamat on sale Memorial Day weekend and never regretted it. I was introducing my wife to camping so I wanted to make it as comfortable as possible the first time out. This was well worth the money we are considering another two for our kids. Bottom line I demaneed that we not buy another cheap camping mat. It's also a bit narrow but makes it good for snuggling. Only problem it is not long enough for my 6'3" husband. It is big, not something that I would take on a canoe trip. We didn't have a problem deflating the mat or packing up. Nights got into the 40's for August and no problem sleeping. We spent 7 nights in the tent and didn't have to re inflate.
